Karen DiYanni – Carnegie Hill Orchestra

A native of Bedford, NY, violinist Karen DiYanni, currently resides in Manhattan where she takes pleasure in a versatile career as an orchestral, chamber, studio and commercial artists. She received a Master of Music (’96) and Artist Diploma (’97) degree from the Yale School of Music and a Bachelor of Music degree(’94) from the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University.  Since Jan.2008, she has been a member of an electric string trio under Mardar Management Inc., labeled as “explosive classical entertainment, “hired for private and corporate events throughout the U.S. and Canada. She is also a member of the New York Pops, Artemis Ensemble,  and  Ensemble 212. Other professional ensembles include, “The Producers” orchestra on Broadway, New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, Brooklyn Philharmonic, Orchestra of St. Luke’s and the former New York Chamber Symphony. Ms.DiYanni has been a Fellow at the Tanglewood Music Center, Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, National Repertory Orchestra, Music Academy of the West, Spoleto Festival, Spoleto, Italy and Recontres Musicale d’Evian. Television appearances include; “ Late Night With David Letterman “ in a back up ensemble for Joni Mitchell, TRAIN, THE GAME, Little Anthony and the Supremes and Darelene Love, B.E.T./CBS Special with Kanye West, TNT Music Awards, MACY’S Fourth of July on NBC, and the former Rosie’ O’Donnell Show. Additional back up ensemble appearances and tours include, Andrea Bocelli, Chris Botti, Sarah Brightman, Michael Crawford, THE STYX, Jane Monheit and Liza Minnelli, and Barry Manilow.
