A New York native, Beverly Simon is a long-time associate of ISO, as well as an alumna. She has degrees in Music from Hunter College, and in advanced study for both modern and baroque viola performance from the Birmingham Conservatoire in England. Ms. Simon currently teaches at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, where she co-founded their Suzuki violin and viola programs.
