Violinist Carrie Dowell, originally from Pekin, Illinois, recently moved to New York from Boston where she continues to freelance and teach. She is also on faculty at Rye Arts Center, Opus 118 Harlem School of Music and Hamilton-Madison House. Ms. Dowell holds degrees from Butler University, Kent State University and the Longy School of Music. She is also a member of the Missouri Symphony and the Bear Valley Festival Symphony.
