Valerie Holmes, ISO Flutes

Valerie Holmes, Director of ISO Flutes, received B.M. and M.M. degrees from San Jose State University and the D.M.A. from Manhattan School of Music. She studied flute with Louis Moyse, Carol Wincenc, and Harold Bennett. She is also on the faculty of Brooklyn College Preparatory Center for the Performing Arts, the Lucy Moses School, and is the flute instructor at the Special Music School – P.S. 859 in a program for the musically gifted.
