ISO Morningside Orchestra

Led by Robert Johnston, the Morningside orchestra motivates young musicians to work together to make music. Repertoire ranges from age-appropriate original compositions to standard classical works arranged for young players. The orchestras for young people  provide a strong grounding in fundamental and necessary orchestral concepts in a community-oriented and goal-centered environment. Players should have started private lessons and possess basic skills, including the ability to read music. These ensembles prepare students for advancement and growth through each of the subsequent ISO ensembles. Registration fee, tuition, and an audition are required.
