Application Fee 2013/2014 Season: $75 for all ensembles
The application fee for all auditioning students is due by the date of the student’s audition. Returning Symphony and Symphonic Band members do not have to re-audition but must submit the application form and application fee by May 24, 2013 to hold their place.
The application fee is only refundable if a student is not placed in an ensemble. Only in cases of extreme financial hardship will the application fee be waived upon submission of a financial aid application before the student’s audition.
Registration & Tuition for 2013/2014 Season
ISO Symphony: $200 (registration only, no tuition charged for this full scholarship ensemble)
Symphonic Band and Concert Orchestra: $1250/year, $680/semester
Carnegie Hill Orchestra: $1175/year, $640/semester
Morningside, ISO at Turtle Bay, ISO Trinity Florentine,
and ISO Floral Park Orchestra: $1125/year, $610/semester
ISO Flutes: $850/year, $525/semester
Parents will be billed once auditions are completed in June, September, or January. The bill will include options for monthly installment plans and information about financial aid.
Early bird discount: Anyone who pays tuition in full, sets up a payment plan, or applies for financial aid by July 31st, 2013, will receive a $25 discount on tuition. Payment of tuition in full, establishment of a payment plan, or an application for financial aid must be completed by November 1st, 2013, or the student will not be allowed to continue participation in ISO activities.
Families with more than one student in an ISO ensemble receive a $250 discount on tuition for the second and third (and fourth!) children.
