Chamber Music Center collaborates with Bloomingdale School of Music for an unforgettable summer chamber music experience. Each day students will receive daily coachings, guided practice, workshops, masterclasses, as well as outdoor activities. This two-week immersion will culminate in a concert of all students. Groups will be expertly formed and coached by highly qualified and experienced faculty. Pre-formed groups (trios or more) are encouraged to apply.

Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts

Usdan is an arts day camp in Long Island where students have classes in a major and minor interest each day as well as swimming, and daily assemblies. Music major classes offered are band, orchestra, jazz ensembles, chorus, piano, and guitar. Major and minor interest classes are also offered in art, theater, dance, chess, writing, nature, athletics, and discovery. Scholarships, financial aid, and internships are available. No audition required.

Crane Youth Music

CYM staff includes Crane School of Music faculty supplemented by additional guest artists/teachers. All students attend master classes taught by master teachers, perform in large group ensembles, and have the opportunity to receive training in music theory and aural skills. String performers participate in string sectionals and chamber music groups in addition to orchestra. Pianists receive individual lessons, coaching, and group piano instruction in the electronic piano labs. Vocalists perform in a variety of choral ensembles and work in small class lessons as well as master classes. Woodwind, brass and percussion instrumentalists rehearse with a band twice daily and also perform in like instrument ensembles. All students have the opportunity to perform in the all-camp choir.
Eastern U.S. Music Camp

This program offers young people the opportunity to pursue musical studies through individual, class, and group instruction; to perform a wide range of instrumental and choral works in ensemble and concert (both classical and jazz); and to participate in supervised sports and other informal recreational activities. Private lessons are available. Students also have the opportunity to take classes in theory, harmony, composition and arranging, conducting, and improvisation.
French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts

Age range: 7-17 years old

Students are placed in classical or jazz ensembles based on their age, ability, and schedule. Students audition when they arrive at camp for placement. Private and group lessons are available for all instruments. Students in the Music Camp also have the opportunity to play in a pit orchestra in conjunction with the Theater Camp. Campers can participate in activities in music, art, film and video, theater, dance, circus, sports, cooking, magic, horseback riding, and more.
Ithaca College Summer Music Academy

Students in both the intermediate and high school division participate in large ensembles, chamber ensembles, master classes, and an array of music and non-music courses. Held on the Ithaca College campus, the Summer Music Academy has a faculty that consists of renowned guest artists, top music educators, and Ithaca College faculty. An array of music electives are available designed for specific music interests: performance, music education, sound recording technology, composition, and jazz. No audition required.
Luzerne Music Center

Luzerne Music Center (LMC) is a summer camp and performing arts center located in the New York Adirondacks. LMC maintains special relationships with the Philadelphia Orchestra and New York City Ballet. Junior Session students travel to performances of the New York City Ballet, while Senior Session students attend weekly performances of the Philadelphia Orchestra, all held at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center. Philadelphia Orchestra members and visiting performing artists present master classes and sectionals for all instruments on campus throughout the summer. At LMC, students perform in a variety of large and small ensembles all while receiving weekly private lessons. Live or recorded audition required.
Meadowmount School of Music

Founded in 1944 by Ivan Galamian, the Meadowmount School of Music, located in the Adirondack Mountains, offers exceptional string players and pianists a seven-week intensive program of private study and chamber music coaching with internationally recognized faculty. Performance opportunities include weekly master classes with the Meadowmount faculty, master classes with visiting artists, and concerts both on and off campus. Audition DVD required.
New York Summer Music Festival (NYSMF)

The New York Summer Music Festival (NYSMF) is a summer music camp, hosted by the Music Department of The State University of New York/College at Oneonta. NYSMF is a six-week summer program where each day is filled with music ensemble rehearsals, chamber music, and music electives. Students can choose from over 50 performing ensembles and classes. No audition required.
Signature Music Camp at Cazenovia College

Band/Choir Track – This is the larger program of the Signature Music Camp. Campers participate in daily band and choir rehearsals. Other class offerings include show choir, jazz ensembles, improvisation, sight-singing, master classes and music theory. From 8 a.m. until 3 p.m., campers take part in ensembles and classes. In the late afternoon, from 3-5 p.m., campers can swim, play frisbee or other pick-up games, or just hang out on the lawn. Evening events include skit night, staff and camper recitals, scavenger hunts, and carnival night. No audition required.
Summit Music Festival

Students share newly developed performance skills during the final Gala Concert at the Nicholas Music Center.
