Members of the ISO Symphonic Band, led by founder and conductor Brian P. Worsdale, explore the exciting world of Symphonic Band music. This unique ensemble consists of intermediate and advanced- level wind, brass and percussion players. In addition to many community concerts the Band performs in New York City’s major concert halls. Membership is by audition, or by permission of the conductor. Good technical and sight-reading skills are required. Members of the Band may also play in an appropriate ISO orchestra and orchestra members may join the Band.
